I'm partnering with a growing, technology-driven organisation looking for a Head of IT Operations to lead a critical function that's central to the success of the business.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving services, solving operational challenges and ensuring technology enables growth rather than getting in the way.

- Strong knowledge of cloud, infrastructure and service management.
- A track record of improving operational performance and service delivery.
- Experience managing suppliers, budgets and stakeholders.

Why apply?
- Genuine leadership role with influence across the organisation.
- Opportunity to shape how Technology Operations evolves.
- Broad remit covering people, process, technology and suppliers.
- Growing business with ambitious plans.

Technical Lead / Lead Full Stack Software Developer
£100,000 | 10+ years' experience | Full time | Quarterly office visits
Permanent – UK-based SaaS scale-up
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company operating in the B2B sales and marketing technology space.
The business is profitable, healthy and growing - expanding its product suite while continuing to invest heavily in the technology and people behind it. It's a genuine "One Team" culture, with a strong focus on growth, ownership and giving back to the wider community.
The Role
We're looking for a Lead-level Full Stack Software Developer to join a small, senior team building the company's customer-facing products. You'll be technically leading work from initial design through to full implementation - iterating quickly on a modern tech stack (Node.js microservices, Vue, Redis, SQL Server and Snowflake) and deploying to production in AWS every day, following a DevSecOps approach.
This is a hands-on lead role: part high-performing individual contributor, part lead developer and embedded architect. You'll work closely with stakeholders and customers directly, shaping solutions from the ground up rather than simply executing a backlog.
AI is central to how this team works. You'll be expected to use AI heavily to accelerate delivery and stay ahead as the tooling evolves - the team is intentionally kept small, with AI acting as a genuine force-multiplier rather than a replacement for headcount.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with stakeholders on initial solution design, scoping and system design
- Spiking areas of uncertainty and building proofs of concept where needed
- Working with initiative managers to break work down into deliverable epics and stories
- Turning user stories into production code — as an individual contributor and as lead developer/embedded architect within a small squad
- Owning the quality, maintainability and operability of what you and the team build
- Supporting live products in production and resolving issues as they arise
- Contributing to architecture and implementation decisions across the product
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' full stack development experience, ideally on large-scale SaaS platforms
- 5+ years' JavaScript and TypeScript experience — essential for this role
- Strong system design and domain modelling experience, with a commercial mindset
- Experience with clean code, SOLID principles and design patterns
- Comfort working in a mature CI/CD environment, deploying to production daily
- A forward-thinking approach to using AI to accelerate high-quality software delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including working directly with customers
- Experience with automated testing, quality assurance and building systems that perform at scale
- Enthusiasm for security best practice and driving high engineering standards
- A technical/computer science degree or equivalent professional experience
What's On Offer
- £100,000 salary
- Employment with a fast-growing UK SaaS company
- Competitive benefits package
- A genuine "One Team" culture built around growth and high standards
- Volunteer days, fundraising and community involvement

Senior Full Stack Developer | Glasgow | Hybrid
Up to £60k + great benefits
We're working with a well-established, growing organisation in the financial services sector - a purpose-driven business with a loyal customer base and a proprietary digital platform that genuinely differentiates them in their market.
They're growing their engineering team and looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a small, close-knit group where your opinion matters, your code ships, and your impact is visible.
The Role
This is a hands-on position - the majority of your time will be spent writing and architecting code, not sitting in meetings. You'll work across a member-facing self-serve platform and internal tooling, contributing to both greenfield features and ongoing improvement of live systems.
You'll also play a senior role in the team - reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, and helping shape technical direction without it becoming a management role.
Tech Stack

- Node.js / TypeScript
- Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional full stack development experience
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals with solid React and Node.js experience
- Someone who takes genuine ownership - from brief to deployment
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced developers
- TypeScript, mobile app experience, and cloud exposure are all advantageous
What You Get
- Hybrid working — primarily remote, with occasional in-office days in Glasgow
- Defined benefit pension scheme
- Generous holiday allowance
- A role where your technical input genuinely shapes the product
This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation with real stability, a meaningful mission, and a tech stack you'll enjoy working in — without the noise of a large enterprise environment.
