Join our global client’s specialist Information Security function, playing a role in maintaining the integrity, availability, and governance of core security services across critical infrastructure environments. With a focus on Cryptography & Key Management, you will work directly with enterprise‑grade Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and lead key‑management processes supporting secure operations across multiple platforms.

The tasks of an Analyst will include:

• Configure, administer, and maintain HSM devices, including secure onsite activities and lifecycle management.
• Generate, distribute, store, recover, rotate, and retire cryptographic keys.
• Maintain detailed documentation, device catalogues, and cryptographic records.
• Support the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of key‑management services across globally distributed platforms.

• Contribute to the development of Infrastructure automation routines.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Produce operational reports, risk statements, and compliance evidence as part of ongoing governance requirements.
• Develop, and implement procedures, processes, and control improvements.
• Own and deliver cryptographic components of projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and securely integrated.


 

To progress as a successful Analyst, you will require:

• InfoSec experience with understanding of cryptography and key‑management.
• Hands‑on experience with HSM configuration, installation and support.
• Understanding of certificate management, authentication technologies, and controlled cryptographic processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL.
• Understanding of Unix / Windows environments used within secure infrastructure.
• Understanding of scripting with Python, Go-Lang or similar

• Strong documentation skills for procedures, runbooks, and audit deliverables.
• Knowledge of risk, governance, compliance, and data‑protection principles; relevant certifications are advantageous.

 

**The hands-on Cryptography experience, particularly of Hardware Security Module (HSM) and associated Key Management is significant, however candidates with some recent exposure and a broader background in ITIL, Incident Response, Change Management AND a genuine demonstrable desire to progress a career in Cryptography, will be considered. • Exposure to DevOps tooling ie. Git, JIRA, and database‑focused CI/CD processes.
• Experience promoting or coaching Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across teams or large organisations.

• Desirable to have practical experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Desirable to have scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and migration work.
