IT Support Technician
Location: Coatbridge
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits
Contract: Full-time on-site
Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? We’re looking for an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure systems run efficiently across the organisation.
About the Role
As an IT Technician, you will:
- Deliver 1st & 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services.
- Manage VMware vSphere and other virtualization technologies.
- Troubleshoot PC hardware, perform repairs, and monitor system health.
- Assist with IT security measures, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Document technical issues and provide training to staff.
- Support the implementation of the IT roadmap and ensure compliance with security policies.
Required Skills

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving a cloud-native platform that’s revolutionizing data-driven solutions. You’ll be involved in strategic projects, including migrating to a multi-tenant Kubernetes architecture, implementing security best practices, and driving automation across the software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contribute to the design and execution of Kubernetes migration for a scalable, multi-tenant architecture.
- Support cloud infrastructure decisions and manage environments across GCP and DigitalOcean.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Manage infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and maintain operational scripts (Golang, Python).
- Oversee secret management and ensure secure deployments into high-security client environments.
- Maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and participate in on-call rotations.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, with some Windows Server knowledge.
- Practical experience with IaC, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
- Familiarity with secret management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
- Solid scripting skills (Golang, Python) and database management (Postgres).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
