Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Convert project requirements into comprehensive plans for execution.
- Resource Management: Align project demand with resource availability using industry-standard tools.
- Global Meetings: Lead and schedule customer-facing meetings across different time zones to report progress.
- Critical Path Identification: Optimise timelines by identifying key activities and dependencies.
- Efficient Resource Allocation: Forecast and allocate resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Planning: Create schedules to highlight constraints and utilisation.
- Risk Documentation: Generate documentation for risks related to budget, hardware delays, scope changes, technical issues, skill gaps, bottlenecks, and overutilisation.
- Risk Communication: Inform the Head of Project Management about potential risks and impacts.
- Milestone Tracking: Improve planning and tracking to meet deadlines effectively.
- Scope and Budget Monitoring: Prevent profit dilution and ensure budget alignment.
- Continuous Improvement: Document lessons learned to drive innovation and improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Project Delivery: Experience in end-to-end project planning, resource scheduling, and requirements validation in a PMO environment.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, risk management, and resource planning tools.
- Resource Management: Proven ability to manage resources effectively, ensuring demand vs. capacity alignment.
- Financial Management: Experience in project financial management and budget control.
- IT Infrastructure: Experience in end-to-end project delivery within IT infrastructure.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate risks.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer-facing implementation projects, ensuring their success.
- Work on complex, high-volume, real-time systems and application integration projects for financial services clients.
- Design innovative solutions to meet emerging business needs.

Required Experience

I'm currently working with a well-established client in the machinery and engineering sector who is looking to bring on board a Business Systems Analyst to support the ongoing development and optimisation of their IFS ERP system.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at a pivotal time, with a major upgrade to IFS Cloud on the horizon. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, enhance system functionality, and deliver training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption across departments.
There’s also scope to get involved in broader digital initiatives, including Power BI and Power Apps projects.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line support for IFS functional issues
- Deliver user training and maintain clear documentation
- Lead enhancements and change requests for IFS functionality
