Our client is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join their growing team. You will be a vital member of the solution architect team as their Cyber Security Specialist. Collaborating with expert solution architects in their fields, you will work directly with customers to understand their requirements both from a business and technical perspective.
- Design Documentation: Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for customers, ensuring a commercially effective blend of security.
- Simplify Technical Terms: Explain complex technical concepts in a non-technical manner.
- Security Assessments: Conduct assessments and design architectures to address vulnerabilities and risks.
- Threat Modeling: Develop and implement threat models to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the deployment of security solutions like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and DLP tools.
- Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Vulnerability Management: Collaborate with SecOps to develop and implement vulnerability management programs, including assessments, penetration testing, and remediation.
- Cloud Security: Maintain expertise in cloud security best practices, including secure configuration, access management, and data protection.
- Integration: Work closely with product leads, solution architects, and engineering teams to integrate security into solution design and implementation.
- Investment Guidance: Advise customers on security controls aligned with business objectives, prioritising based on threat likelihood and impact.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a cybersecurity presales/architect role or similar security-focused position within an MSP/Reseller.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of security principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
- Cloud Security: Experience with AWS and Azure security.
- Compliance: Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Communication: Excellent skills to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

I'm currently working with a well-established client in the machinery and engineering sector who is looking to bring on board a Business Systems Analyst to support the ongoing development and optimisation of their IFS ERP system.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at a pivotal time, with a major upgrade to IFS Cloud on the horizon. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, enhance system functionality, and deliver training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption across departments.
There’s also scope to get involved in broader digital initiatives, including Power BI and Power Apps projects.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line support for IFS functional issues
