A leading IT services provider is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join its technical operations team. This role is pivotal in resolving complex technical issues, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the final escalation point for advanced support tickets and critical incidents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networking environments.
- Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to enhance overall service capability.
- Manage high-priority tickets in line with SLAs and business impact.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and client onboarding projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in 3rd line support within an IT or MSP environment.

Strong technical knowledge in:
- Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, Group Policy
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Exchange Online
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, SD-WAN
- Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper-V
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python (preferred)
- Backup & DR: Veeam, Datto, Azure Backup

Excellent troubleshooting skills and a calm approach under pressure.
