Be-IT's client are looking for a contract Cloud Ops Specialist to join them on an initial 6 month contract. 

In this role you will work across both Azure & AWS platforms, with a slight lean more towards Azure, and you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing uptime and enforcing best practices.

For this role you will need to be skilled in the following;

• Certified in Azure Fundamentals and/or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, with additional Microsoft/AWS solutions architecture qualifications desirable.
• Experienced in working within a multi-cloud environment, with a focus on Azure and/or AWS services.
• Proficient in Microsoft/AWS technologies such as M365, Azure AD, D365, Oracle RDS, Workspaces, Guard Duty, and Sentinel.
• Skilled in capacity and cost control in Azure/AWS environments.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following; 

• Reporting to the IT Operations Technical Manager, you'll be instrumental in delivering and supporting services across Azure and AWS platforms.
• Collaborating with IT partners to ensure optimal service delivery and support.
• Identifying and prioritizing operational improvements, working closely with vendors and partners.
• Managing BAU service improvements and integrations, working with solution owners and projects.
• Evaluating and prioritizing work items to add value to staff and customers.
• Monitoring and managing reporting dashboards to ensure operational health and capacity planning
