IT Manager

IT Manager - Greenock, Inverclyde

Full-time, Permanent £58,000 per annum

Office-based, 5 days per week

 

We have partnered with a Housing Association seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead their digital transformation and ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of systems and services.

This is a key role offering the opportunity to shape the future of technology at the company. You’ll combine strategic vision with day-to-day operational support, managing IT infrastructure, leading key system migrations, and ensuring colleagues are able to work securely and effectively.

 

The Role

  • Lead the development and delivery of an IT and digital strategy.
  • Oversee system management, cybersecurity, and data protection compliance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support across a 50-person office and remote teams.
  • Manage relationships with MSP.
  • Lead the upcoming Housing Management System migration project, from selection through to implementation.
  • Provide technical leadership on IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud platforms.

 

About You:

We’re looking for a practical, people-focused IT leader who combines technical expertise with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

You will bring:

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Several years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
  • Proven leadership or team management experience.
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and third-party suppliers.

Desirable:

  • Experience of SDM Housing Software.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and data protection compliance (GDPR).
