Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking for a role where you can take full ownership of customer projects from start to finish?

We're working with a growing technology services provider that is expanding its project delivery team following continued business growth. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical environment delivering a wide variety of Microsoft 365, cloud, infrastructure, networking and migration projects for a diverse customer base.

You'll take responsibility for delivering projects from initial handover through to completion, leading customer onboarding activities, cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and service deployments. This is not a role where you'll be responsible for only a small portion of the project. Instead, you'll manage your own project portfolio and be trusted to drive successful outcomes for customers.

The ideal candidate will come from an MSP background, although applicants from internal IT environments will also be considered if they can demonstrate experience delivering projects independently and owning the full project lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading customer onboarding and implementation projects.
  • Delivering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and SharePoint migrations.
  • Deploying cloud, infrastructure, networking and security solutions.
  • Conducting customer discovery sessions, audits and technical workshops.
  • Managing projects through to successful completion and handover to support teams.

What we're looking for

  • Experience delivering technical projects end-to-end.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration and migration skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Exchange and server migrations.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Intune, identity and security technologies.
  • Networking experience including firewalls, VPNs, switching and wireless solutions.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • MSP experience highly desirable.

What's on offer

  • Exposure to a broad range of technologies and customer environments.
  • A growing projects team with genuine ownership and accountability.
  • Ongoing technical development and certification opportunities.
  • Office-based role with customer site visits as required.
  • Varied and challenging project delivery work.
