We're working with a highly regarded financial services organisation that is investing heavily in its Salesforce platform and looking to add a Senior Salesforce Developer to an established delivery team.

This is an opportunity to join a business where Salesforce sits at the heart of key operational processes. You'll be working on a mix of platform enhancements, integrations and new feature development, while also taking ownership of solutions and working closely with stakeholders across the business.

The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being more than just a developer. Alongside hands-on engineering, you'll have the opportunity to engage directly with users, shape requirements, influence technical decisions and help drive the evolution of the platform.

This is an active delivery environment rather than a maintenance-focused team, offering meaningful project work, genuine ownership and a clear pathway towards technical leadership.

The Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll work closely with product owners, business stakeholders and technical colleagues to design and deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.

You'll play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, balancing platform best practices with commercial needs and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and Platform APIs
  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making
  • Support improvements to deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines and development standards
  • Promote Salesforce security and platform best practices
  • Mentor and support other members of the Salesforce team

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Strong Salesforce development experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience delivering Salesforce integrations
  • Strong understanding of declarative Salesforce tools including Flows and Validation Rules
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Desirable

  • Experience within Financial Services, Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance or related sectors
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and automated testing practices
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security and permissions models
  • Experience using Jira

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to work on a business-critical Salesforce platform
  • A genuine blend of technical delivery and business engagement
  • Significant autonomy and ownership
  • Exposure to complex integrations and enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions
  • Clear progression towards technical leadership responsibilities
  • Collaborative environment with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • The chance to make a visible impact within a growing technology function

If you're an experienced Salesforce Developer looking for a role that combines hands-on development, stakeholder engagement and long-term progression opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
