The Opportunity

This is a quota-carrying enterprise sales role with real ownership. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll drive growth across the UK and Europe. You will identify, develop and close strategic opportunities across policing, defence, government, National Infrastructure and strategic commercial markets.

You'll own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through solution development, commercial negotiation and contract award, working hand-in-hand with Pre-Sales, Engineering, Product and Delivery.

Please note: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK (unfortunately sponsorship support is not available at this time) and be able to obtain UK security clearance (SC).

Vetting to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) will be required as part of the offer process.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carry an annual sales quota and consistently hit or beat revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales opportunities from first engagement through to signature.
  • Build and nurture a qualified pipeline strong enough to deliver quarterly and annual numbers, with accurate forecasting maintained in Salesforce.
  • Shape and execute the UK/EU sales strategy in line with the company's growth ambitions.
  • Develop strategic customer relationships at every level (users to executive stakeholders).
  • Partner with pre-Sales to craft technical solutions that answer customers’ requirements.
  • Run customer evaluations, demos, proof-of-concepts and pilot deployments.
  • Grow existing accounts through expansion strategies that maximise long-term revenue.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with channel & technology partners and system integrators.
  • Fly the flag at customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
  • Feed market intel back into the business. (Competitors, sector needs, emerging technologies).
  • Contribute to bids, framework submissions and strategic proposals, and work with Marketing on lead generation and market awareness.
  • Keep customer satisfaction high throughout the entire sales process.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ yrs selling enterprise tech solutions, with a demonstrable record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience running complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Confident, engaging senior decision-makers within public sector or enterprise organisations.
  • A solid grasp of enterprise software, surveillance, networking, AI or security technologies.
  • Sharp commercial awareness and the ability to build compelling business cases.
  • First-class presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and well-organised to work independently from a home base.
  • Happy to travel extensively across the UK and Europe.

 

Useful…..(and please highlight on your application):

  • A track record selling into UK law enforcement, defence or government.
  • Existing relationships across policing, defence or critical national infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks.
  • Experience working through channel partners and strategic alliances.
  • Understanding of cloud, Edge technology, AI, security software, image analytics or secure comm technologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.

  • Salary: Competitive £70 - £80k base + OTE
