Embedded Software Engineer

Locations: Dundee or Dunfermline

This leading consultancy is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in C, C++ or C# programming languages to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining embedded software solutions for various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded software solutions using C, C++ or C# programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the full software project management lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development using C, C++ or C# programming languages.
• Experience of at least one of C, C++ or C# programming languages.
• Familiarity with software development tools, such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
